We need health care reform and we need the public option. It's embarrassing already that of all industrialized countries, we can't take this monkey off the backs of our people.
I agree with Bram. I have healthcare insurance, and I pay every month for it, and alot of deductibles for it, for every doctors visit, every test, every procedure, but at least I have something.
I know many people, city residents and families who have nothing, or almost nothing. I worry everyday for them. I know it is not popular to think that maybe the "haves" or even "somewhat haves" may have to contribute more or give up some, so that more people can have a little, but when it comes to healthcare I don't know how in good conscience anyone could allow members of this country to go without basic healthcare.
