Community Event

The HUDDLER will be out of town on a secret squirrel mission, but hopefully some of you from the burghosphere can attend this worth while event and report back?

Please join community and labor leaders including SEIU, CWA, ATU 85, IUOE 95, Teamsters 926, UNITEHERE, UFCW, Sierra Club, PIIN, Pittsburgh UNITED, CLUW, USW, PFT, and many more for a forum to discuss a worker’s right to organize and its benefits to our communities. The event will take place;

Saturday, February 28th
Calvary United Methodist Church
971 Beech Ave,
Pittsburgh 15233
(Corner of Beech and Allegheny Ave)
10:00am-Noon

Elected officials are respectfully encouraged to attend and will have the opportunity to question a panel of community leaders and activists, distinguished elected officials, and labor leaders on the Employee Free Choice Act and related local issues. The right to organize creates a landscape where we can rebuild our communities through good jobs, hold corporations accountable, and ensure living wage jobs for our families. Join us as our community comes together to discuss the right to organize and its importance to rebuilding the fading American middle class.
